Spiritual Warfare

This Sunday the sermon will be SW501: The Anatomy of Temptation & Sanctification. The main scripture is 1 Thessalonians 5:23: “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.” God's will is for us to be wholly sanctified in all our parts. We are three in one. We are spirits who have souls and live in bodies in this world. The three sources of temptation (1 John 2:16) - lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life - war against our sanctification.
The Friday Student Fellowship will continue to study I Kissed Dating Goodbye, "A new attitude toward romance and relationships."
We continue to pray for the academic success of our college students as they take their finals this week. Study for the glory of God!

CCCBR English Ministry

~ 5 Announcements 2/20/12 - 2/26/12 ~


(1) Pray that all English congregation members would stay in the power and control of the Holy Spirit throughout the year in all aspects of their lives to be a witness for Christ.
(2) There will be baptism on Easter Sunday. If you would like to be baptized, please let Pastor Bill know.
(3) There is church prayer meeting every Wednesday 7:30-9:00 pm in church. If you come, we would share/pray in English or have a separate English prayer group.
(4) There will be no Student Fellowship this Friday.
(5) Sunday School at 9:30 am and Worship Service in Main Sanctuary at 11:00 am.
