This Sunday we will continue the spiritual warfare series by putting on the armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-13: Finally, BE STRONG in the Lord and in the strength of his might. PUT ON the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore TAKE UP the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. STAND therefore…Although it isn't really correct to start with the 'Finally' because we really should read all of Ephesians first, we will focus on the imperatives (in all caps) which are our actions in the war between two kingdoms. How do we 'be strong' and 'put on'? How do we 'stay strong' and 'keep it on'?
The Friday Student Fellowship will begin a new series titled 'The Revolt' which focuses on building an unshakable Christian worldview. I hope to see you Friday night for fellowship and Bible study.
